New York Leak Detection, Inc. (NYLD) provides services centered around surveying for and pinpointing leaks in pressurized pipes of all materials in many different applications. NYLD also offers numerous methods and crossover uses for state-of-the-art technologies for the location, identification, and condition of subsurface infrastructure.
NYLD Field Specialists use a variety of equipment from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to Computerized Acoustic Correlators, along with other technologies to conduct water and gas leak detection surveys, utility locations, and video pipe inspections. GPR is also useful in searching for steel support beams and rebar, underground storage tanks (USTs), bedrock formations, potential sinkholes or structural voids.
